The interactive map question meets the need to identify elements in a given area, whether it be a region, a city, or a park. It allows you to collect geolocated information. Often, the question will start with: "Where...?".
This question can be fun and provide you with relevant information, but since participation is more complex, the number of participants will likely be lower than for your other types of questions. Take this into consideration.
Click on "Consultations"
Click on your consultation
Click on "SECTIONS"
Click on the section where you want to add a question
Click on "FORMS"
Click on the PLUS sign to add a new question
Click on "Question Interactive Map"
Enter your question
Click on "SAVE"
Click on the arrow to close the left-hand menu and have more space to work.
Click on "ANSWERS / CHOICES"
Click on the icons - and + to zoom in on the place you want to see on the map
Move the map if needed
Click on "SAVE"
Click on "Map Style"
Click on "Outdoors", for example, to try out this style
Click on "SAVE". The map background will be changed. Try out different map styles and choose the one that suits you best.
Click on "First Category"
Enter the name of the pin and click on "SAVE"
Click on the PLUS sign to add more pins
Enter the name of the second pin. Click on "Marker Color".
Pick the color of the pin
Click on "SAVE"
Repeat the same steps to add more pins
Click on "PREVIEW"
Preview your question and your map
Preview you pins and make any updates needed
