What is a question?

The Cocoriko platform allows you to ask different types of questions to your community. Unlike a survey, no question is mandatory, and participants can browse through the available questions.

The advantages of the Cocoriko approach:

  • Your questions can include comments that are visible to the community, such as in a town hall meeting, for more transparency in your consultations
  • Comments can also be submitted only to the administrator, as if you had a suggestion box on a consultation table
  • Pictures can accompany your questions for a better understanding
  • Your participants can also vote or comment based on images rather than statements
  • Questions are incorporated between proposals for a dynamic and interesting design for your community

This image is a good example of photo appreciation with the addition of comments visible to the community

This image  shows a multiple choice question with a photo to enhance understanding.

Unlike the proposals, there are no detailed statistics visible to the community for the questions. The results are reserved for the administrators.

By default, the questions are salmon colored to easily differentiate them from the proposals. However, you have the option of presenting white cards, if you feel this is preferable and you must make this request when creating your platform as this format will apply to all your consultations. Below, you have questions on white cards and the option to comment without the comments being visible on the consultation.

On the right, you have an example of a multiple choice question with an image and without the option to comment.

Keep in mind when writing your questions:

  • All questions will be optional
  • Write your questions in advance and then copy and paste them onto the platform
  • Ideally, arrange questions and proposals on the same page for a complete experience and diverse data. For example:
  • Your questions should preferably be short and to the point. Additional information can be added at the top of the page, in the information bubbles.

Below is a summary table of the options on the questions:
